This is the KELVIN GIORMANI tradition that every leather hide is controlled and graded before the drafting & cutting process. We want to be sure leather’s physical properties are up to standard, and the natural markings are under attention while the drafting process begins. All leather used are up to required European standards.
As a common control practice for key materials, we check every incoming fabric roll before using it. Our control focus is mainly on color fastness and abrasion resistance. If there is any doubt, the fabric will be sent to and tested in professional laboratories according to required European standards.
Polyurethane foam is the primary padding material. In KELVIN GIORMANI, our control focus is mainly on indentation force deflection, resilience and density. It will also be tested to make sure there is no addictive that interferes the density results. PE fiber sheets and goose feathers will be tested based on required national standards.
All mechanisms used are up to required European standards to begin with. Systematic manual checking is added internally before using is to make sure if any flaw in a batch basis is found, it can be fixed by suppliers in time.
Solid wood, plywood, sinuous springs and webbings are the primary materials to build our sofa wood frames. Our control focus is mainly on the physical properties to make sure they are structurally sound and up to our internal standard for durability.
Sofa legs have the structural importance and accessorizing meaning to a sofa. As an outsourcing material, every sofa leg is controlled on its color and design appearance as well as the structural quality aspects. All our stainless steel legs are made with 304 stainless steels, and all our wooden legs are made with hardwood (no softwood).
