Folding-effect is a hand-made feature which takes a lot of experience and understanding on such a thick and natural material like leather to achieve. From the design stand point, it gives more “volume” to the look of the flat leather on sofas; the multiple leather-folds magnify the natural leather look and feel while touching the sofas. This is also a fashion-inspired way to deliver the sense of comfort and softness which is commonly seen on leather clothing but not much on sofas.
